Introduction
A leading hospital with multiple branches faced lot of challenges to create purchase orders
on daily basis without proper plan. Therefore, Purchase order creation become time-consuming
process. In addition to that hospital want to improvise their order
management and good received, consumption. These challenges prevented the hospital
management from taking crucial decisions.
To scale up their operations and improvised applications, they have decided to implement SAP
B1, but they have already invested and customized their HMS to suit their daily operations.
It will be a complex and expensive to implement HMS capability in
SAP B1. Therefore, they decided to integrate their HMS with SAP B1 using WBC Transformer.
Solution
SAP B1 already had MRP module as better solution.
WBC built customized MRP module as per client additional requirements to overcome the
challenges.
Benefits
The customized MRP module user can view the stocks status and generate the required stocks
for future.
User can raise the PO from MRP with automatic mail configuration to respective supplier.
User can export the MRP recommendation as excel file and do the necessary changes then they
can import the updated excel file to generate the PO.
Results
With the help of our customized MRP recommendation, only two purchase order raised per month
based on stock status.
Now they invest their time in analyzing other purchase reports and further assistance
